Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our free snapshot or paid reading services:

• Birth details: year, month, day, hour, and gender — used solely to calculate your BaZi chart
• Email address: used to deliver your reading; marketing emails require a separate opt-in
• Payment information: processed by our secure payment provider; we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Data

Your birth details are used exclusively to calculate your BaZi chart, generate your personalized reading, and deliver it to your email. Requesting a reading does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing to third parties, training external AI models, or selling to data brokers.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Your birth details are processed on our own infrastructure. Data is never sent to cloud AI providers. All AI interpretation is performed by open-source models running on hardware we control. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant third party.

4. Data Retention

• Free snapshots: retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted
• Paid readings: retained for 90 days so you can request a re-send, then deleted
• Email subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, delete, and export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, visit Contact or email [email protected].

6. First-Party Analytics

We use privacy-conscious, first-party analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This helps us improve page performance, content, and the reading experience.

• Pages viewed, section exposure, clicks, time on page, and navigation path
• Approximate technical context, such as language, timezone, viewport, and referrer
• IP address, used transiently to calculate a keyed cryptographic hash for counting and abuse prevention; the raw IP address is not retained in the analytics table

We do not use third-party advertising pixels, sell analytics data, or share it with ad networks. Analytics identifiers are stored locally in your browser and are used only to understand site usage.

7. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers for payment processing, email delivery, and newsletter management. Each operates under their own privacy policies.
